As non-Natives upon the land from which we live and work, we recognize and honor the continued presence of its original inhabitants and stewards — the indigenous people of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation.

We soberly acknowledge the atrocities and harm — both past and present — of settler-colonialism, racial capitalism, white supremacy, and imperialism — and stand in full support of the Land Back movement and the return of all lands to the care of their dispossessed inhabitants and natural custodians.

As we sow and tend seeds of respect and repair we will inevitably harvest a more just and equitable future for our children — a regenerative future rooted in the humus-rich soil of Indigenous Sovereignty and right-relationship to the Earth Mother and all her children.
