How to Use: 

1. Fill the neti pot to just below the rim with 10 oz. comfortably warm, distilled or previously boiled water. Stir in a heaping ½ teaspoon of mineral sea salt until thoroughly dissolved.
2. Lean over a sink and tilt your head to one side.
3. Keeping the pot level, place the tip of the spout into your upper nostril until it fits snugly.
4. Breathe through your mouth and slowly tilt your head and neti downward allowing the warm saline solution to travel up through your sinuses and out the other nostril into the sink.
5. If the solution comes out your mouth, adjust the angle of your head slightly until most of the liquid flows out the other nostril.
6. Use approximately half the saline solution then repeat on the other side with remaining liquid. (Or use all the solution and refill to rinse the other side.)
7. Gently blow your nose to remove excess saline solution and mucus. 
8. Once you’ve finished, it’s helpful to bend over at the waist (with the top of your head pointed towards the floor) and exhale through your nose to remove any residual saline solution.
9. Apply organic (untoasted) sesame oil inside nostrils, if desired.
   
   

Care & Safety Notes:

As a handmade item expect slight variations. And, as with all ceramics, this item will chip or break if mistreated. Handle with care and keep out of reach of accident-prone hands and paws.

Always use a saline solution, not water, to rinse sinuses. Saline salts sold separately.
