Amber-beaded jewelry is made for wearing not for chewing. Don’t allow your child to put any part of this jewelry in their mouth.
Children should be supervised at all times while wearing amber-beaded jewelry.
We recommend measuring your little one’s neck or wrist with a string to ensure the correct fit. You want to be able to fit a MAXIMUM of two fingers underneath the necklace when it’s on your babe. You don’t want the length to be long enough for your child to be able to pull it up and over their chin.
As a safety precaution the jewelry is designed to break away under 10lbs of pressure and will snap at the clasp if pulled on. In the event of breakage, beads are individually hand-knotted to prevent scattering.
If breakage occurs consider restringing beads on a new thread or burning beads as a purifying ceremonial incense.
